The coldest time of year is February, right? Yes, if you live on the East Coast; not so much if you live on the West Coast. With most parts of the U.S. experiencing an unseasonable cold-snap, everyone’s wondering if it’s going to get colder.
You may find an answer in this map from NOAA’s National Climate Center, which compiles 30 years of temperature data to pinpoint a small range of dates for all parts of the U.S. when it’s like to be coldest.
