Is Getting an MBA Worth it?

Unlike a JD and an MD, no specific profession absolutely requires an MBA, so is it worth it?

Ed Batista, an executive coach and instructor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business explores the benefits of getting an MBA. He argues that MBA programs today are much different than the quantitative-focused ones in the past, and that enrolling in an MBA program gives students access to a network of alumni and other contacts.
