The Liquid Nails brand unveiled its renewed Tips on Tour program with two mobile marketing units that are scheduled to travel to more than 300 stops across the U.S. and Canada to connect with and educate contractors.
Now in its fourth season, the Tips on Tour program provides relevant and exciting job site tips to help professional contractors and remodelers save time and money while providing a better quality end product.
The tour has been reinvented for 2014 and has been expanded from one truck and 75 events to two branded 2014 F-250 truck-and-trailer units and 300 events. The new event footprint covers a 40–by-20-foot area with interactive in-person and video demonstrations to help provide quick educational advice on various applications of construction adhesives.
In addition, event attendees will receive giveaways and rebates for up to $50 cash back on future purchases of Liquid Nails products.
“We’re excited to partner with retailers, trade shows and local store managers across the United States and Canada to bring the excitement of the Liquid Nails brand to their locations,” said Ken West, director of PPG Architectural Coatings Adhesives and Sealants.
The Liquid Nails trucks will travel for more than nine months and stop at home improvement stores, trade shows and other venues. The tour managers hold multiple roles: acting as drivers, Liquid Nails brand ambassadors and product experts. They will interact with pros, DIYers and first-time users to inform them of the ways Liquid Nails brand adhesives can improve performance on the job site and with household repairs.
