Instant Addition

Construction

Carol Acee, owner and president of Acee Construction in Tiger, Ga., is building a 1,300-square-foot addition to a client’s home in a high-end neighborhood in Northeast Georgia. She plans to finish it in just four to six weeks. By using three customized modules from Nationwide Homes, she estimates it will shave four to six months off the project, and save the homeowner about $40,000.

Nationwide’s Custom Addition Collection consists of units configured in several floor plans from 380 to 725 square feet for family room, bedroom, bathroom or kitchen additions. The units are shipped complete with plumbing and electrical systems and insulation. A variety of options are available including fireplaces, skylights and cathedral ceilings. Turnkey prices, excluding site preparation and finish costs, range from $16,000 to $40,000, and all additions meet the same national and state building codes as on-site construction.
