Change is afoot here at Professional Remodeler, and you've probably noticed a big difference already with my presence on this page.
It's my extreme pleasure to join Editor Kim Sweet and new Managing Editor Judi Damm on the editorial team of Professional Remodeler. By expanding the editorial staff, we'll be better able to provide you with the best information, business strategies and innovative ideas to help you make the most of your business.
My number-one goal going forward is to serve your needs and interests in the best way possible, so you're likely to notice a number of exciting improvements in upcoming issues. To that end, I'm very interested in hearing any comments or suggestions you may have regarding the industry overall, your individual business concerns, and ideas for how we can improve the magazine.
I have, in fact, already been in contact with many of you, and your input has been of great value in our improvement efforts. We will continue to poll you, our readers, to gauge your interests and plan content that you deem valuable in running your business.
This February issue, for instance, is the first of three regular editorial issues we've added into our annual calendar in order to address your need for more content. The other two will come to you in July and November to complete our goal of bringing you Professional Remodeler on a monthly basis.
Beginning with the April issue, we'll also unveil a complete redesign of Professional Remodeler, including a fresh new logo, reader-friendly typeface and easier to navigate design. We also plan to introduce some new departments, columns and content-related offerings over the coming months to address your need for sophisticated, intelligent and relevant information that will help you run a profitable and sustainable business in the increasingly competitive home improvement marketplace.
We realize that as a wise business owner, you need to react to the ever-changing landscape of the industry in order to best serve your customers' needs. At Professional Remodeler, we understand the value of that process and join you in that mission.
We're in business to help you make the most of your business. And when we succeed in doing that, you succeed.
Here's to your future success.
