The Remodeled Show Home Returns for IBS 2026 with a Fresh, Real-World Approach
The New American Remodel show home returns for 2026!
This year’s project involves the “soft remodel” of a 3,413-square-foot home in Winter Park, Fla., led by the Phil Kean Design Group. The original 1950s ranch home had been renovated and expanded several times over the years, making it feel disjointed, closed off, and lacking a distinctive style.
The team focused its efforts on creating cohesion between the rooms, opening up spaces to create better sightlines, updating the kitchen and bathrooms, and adding touches of luxury all while avoiding major structural changes. And both inside and out, the home was given a more architecturally significant style that brought the home from nondescript to “tropical Miami.”
See more on the New American Remodel and tour it in person during the National Association of Builders’ International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 17-19. Pro Remodeler is the exclusive media partner on the project.
The home will be open for guided tours to registered attendees of IBS 2026 and Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Free tickets for the complimentary shuttle bus to the home and back to the Orange County Convention Center are available at Booth W39 on a first-come first-served basis each day of the show, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
