That’s no easy feat for a large house in a desert climate, but new windows, lighting, insulation, HVAC equipment, and other products are helping the project earn certification in accordance with National Green Building Standards.   

This massive renovation project by Primaris Custom Homes involves the reimagining of a dated 2004 Tuscan-style house in Henderson, Nev. The 8,000-square-foot home is getting a more open floor plan, refreshed outdoor spaces, and a new California coastal aesthetic.
