Case Study: Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Light Gallery Offers Functional, Dazzling Features

When it came time for Mark and Mina Fies to make selections for the 2021 Model ReModel project, they headed to Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Light Gallery’s 10,000-square-foot Chantilly, Va., showroom, one of the 245+ the company operates. They have come to count on Ferguson’s consultants to guide them through the product selection process even though they’re industry professionals who own their own construction company. They consider Ferguson an extended part of their team who could ensure their vision came to life.

Though they favored an overall mid-century modern look that would update their 1969-built house, their designer created a wish board to showcase the different products to ensure they look good together.

Among the Fies' largest purchases was JennAir’s Rise 48” gas range, and because the couple has a two-kitchen concept, they decided on a 30” induction cooktop, also from JennAir, for the secondary cooking area.

Their selected microwave drawer saves counter space, their energy-efficient JennAir refrigerator with black interior offers a hip look, and an Avallon beverage center lets the couple keep drinks cold and out of the way of their refrigerator traffic.

For faucets, they needed two designs for their two sinks. They went with a Brizo Litze for a longer reach for the oversized one-piece 40” sink in the main kitchen with black and gold finishes. The Delta Trinsic faucet with pull-down spray pairs well with the smaller secondary sink.

Visiting a Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Light Gallery showroom and viewing the products in real life helped the Fies select exact finishes to match between the appliances and plumbing fixtures.
