BreatheClean's whole home air purification system installs directly into the home's central ductwork and destroys most pathogens that pollute indoor air, says the manufacturer. The system applies high-intensity ultraviolet light to destroy mold spores, bacteria, fungi, yeast and viruses, including influenza and the common cold. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it plugs into a standard electrical outlet and draws less energy than a 75-watt light bulb.
