Professional Challenge: Price increases across the board on materials such as cabinets, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and flooring products are substantially more than I’ve seen in the past decade—likely due to rising costs on materials and tariffs. Kitchens continue to grow in average size, companies continue to expand, and with all these larger spaces and added costs, the average household may not be willing to spend as much on a remodel. It will be extremely important to keep consumers aware of the increasing costs required in order to properly remodel a home with quality products that can stand the test of time.
