Owner
Construction Finishes, Lincoln, Neb.
Age 39
2015 Revenue: $600,000
Best practice: Construction Finishes keeps an ad listed at local trade schools and on its website at all times. Like most remodeling companies, the firm is operating with a smaller crew than it needs, and Jason is always on the lookout for someone “teachable” with an interest in joining the company. His goal is to take on more projects and be able to pass responsibility on to his employees, thus helping them grow in their own careers. His production manager came onboard without much field experience and worked side by side with Jason until he gained enough knowledge to take on jobs by himself.
