Age 26
Chelsea started as an administrative assistant with her father’s company. In a few short years, her roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic involved her in every aspect of the business, from accounting to sales to customer service. She’s now poised to take over the helm from her father.
Among all of Chelsea’s efforts, three in particular stand out. First, she rebuilt the company’s outdated website, which has resulted in a tripling of Internet leads. She also partnered with a storm restoration company to learn about insurance work, then turned that knowledge into a new revenue stream for A. Caspersen Co. And she carefully culled the company's vendor list, building stronger relationships with select suppliers. This resulted in an 18 percent increase in revenue in 2014.

Chelsea Caspersen
When you build a family business with "Integrity" it survives.... and, it can easily be handed down to a child in the family. But, from experience, it takes hard work to keep the doors open long term.
With that said, I praise Chelsea Caspersen for not taking the easy road, and letting her father retire with a proud assurance that his legacy Will Survive just as he imageind it.
Seeing a woman survive in a man's world of home improvements makes me proud!
Nice story! Thank you for sharing.
