Sawhorse & Support

With easy portability and quick setup, Centipede Tools’ Sawhorse (shown) and Support XL provide a new work support system. The sawhorse has six struts over a 2-by-4-foot area, is rated for 1,500 pounds, and folds down to 6 by 9 inches. The Support XL has 15 struts over a 4-by-8-foot area, is rated for 3,000 pounds, and folds down to 9 inches by 14 inches. The system includes Quick Clamps to keep work materials in place, and X-Cups to increase work area support.

Table Saw

At just 40 pounds, the DeWalt compact table saw features a 15-amp motor, adjustable feet, and a surface that offers 24 inches of rip capacity. It also includes a 2½-inch port for a dust extractor connection and onboard storage and tool-less blade-guard assembly. A table coating reduces friction to ensure smoother cutting. A lightweight design makes it easy to carry.

Framing Blades

Diablo circular saw blades feature a third tooth, dubbed the “Tracking Point,” that’s beveled across the top. The Tracking Point helps keep the blade running straight and smooth, improving efficiency and speed in the cut by up to 45 percent, according to company officials. This means the saw doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain high rpm.

Drill/Driver Bit System

Irwins Tapcon Installation System combines a bit and drill/drive sleeve to make Tapcon installation quicker and easier. The one-piece construction bit features a built-in hex collar stop for exactness in drilling hole depths for both Tapcon and other masonry screws. Though compatible with standard drill/drivers, it’s especially designed for use with impact drivers and reduces slipping in standard drill chucks, the company says.

Modular Level

The Mosely Infinity Level is a modular system of 1- and 2-foot-long spirit levels that can be linked together end-to-end or at 90-degree angles in two dimensions. When fastened to a wall (while installing cabinets, for example), the bubbles can be adjusted to level with built-in cam knobs, then serve as a temporary ledger.

Staging System

This lightweight and durable OSHA-compliant staging system from Smart-Bracket Staging includes wall brackets that hook over the top plate to provide support for standard aluminum staging planks and railing brackets that hook onto the planks. The brackets are adjustable for wall thickness and also feature adjustable toe, mid, and top safety rails. A pair of brackets is load-rated at 1,000 pounds. Manufactured in the U.S.
