Fast, flexible, and energy efficient, the Diffuse radiant flooring system by Nesite is a triple threat. With the new system, homeowners can enjoy a toasty floor shoe-free while potentially reducing electricity bills. The system’s true pièce de résistance, however, is that it is the first raised, radiant floor that pros can install without cement screed, leaving it accessible for future maintenance.

Diffuse ensures greater thermal inertia than screed systems

Diffuse features modular, removable finishing panels that can be removed and repositioned. These panels, combined with the raised-floor design and concrete-free installation, allow easy access to the system beneath. Pros can choose from ceramic, natural marble, natural granite, natural parquet, carpet, linoleum, vinyl, and plastic laminate panels.

Recommended for both residential and commercial renovations, the system includes five components: a galvanized-steel raising structure, a distribution system for the exchange fluid, radiant panels for underfloor heating, a polystyrene foam insulating layer, and finishing panels.

“Thanks to the choice of its materials and its special composition, Diffuse ensures greater thermal inertia than screed systems and allows the environment to be air-conditioned in the shortest possible time, with an efficiency that translates into a reduction in consumption up to 35%,” says Nesite.

The system flows hot or cold water through aluminum to evenly affect a room’s temperature up to 2.5 meters from the floor. Neutral panels, ones without water piping, can be moved and repositioned for full access.

But the benefits don’t just begin after installation: Because of the dry layering process, remodelers can install the Diffuse system in roughly one week, compared to the 4-6 weeks the company claims it takes in the case of a floor system with a screed.
