Rocklath plaster-base gypsum lath now comes in a larger, 2x8-foot panel size that installs with fewer fasteners than the product’s previous generation. It also produces one-third fewer butt joints for dimensionally stronger walls and ceilings. The 3/8-inch-thick panels can be nailed, screwed or stapled to framing, are compatible with conventional plaster products, and resist lath sag and checking plaster slide, the company says.
