Uponor named a Progress Minnesota 2014 Honoree

Award recognizes individuals and companies driving business growth, jobs and economic development in the Twin Cities and across the state of Minnesota

February 11, 2014

Uponor North America  was recently named a Progress Minnesota 2014 honoree by Finance & Commerce magazine. The award recognizes individuals and companies driving business growth, jobs and economic development in the Twin Cities and across the state of Minnesota.

“It is an honor to be chosen as one of the companies helping to drive greater economic growth in the Twin Cities area,” says Bill Gray, president, Uponor North America. “We have a strong entrepreneurial spirit here at Uponor that is a core part of our culture. Being recognized for our efforts is humbling as well as motivating to ensure we continue our drive toward further innovation and success.”

Uponor is one of 33 companies and individuals being recognized for their outstanding contribution to the Twin Cities business market. Other company honorees include 3M, Mayo Clinic, Shutterfly and St. Jude Medical.

“This year’s award recipients illustrate the creativity, drive and commitment of business and industry from across the state that continues to turn the dial and make Minnesota a great place to conduct business,” says Steve Jahn, publisher, Finance & Commerce. “They typify what the Progress Minnesota Award is about.”

The honorees will be recognized at an event on April 10 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis as well as profiled in a special magazine set for publication on April 11.
