The company's new ground fault circuit interrupters include SafeLock protection, so if critical components are damaged and ground fault protection is lost, power to the receptacle is disconnected. Compared with their previous generation, these products have improved surge protection, better corrosion resistance and meet more stringent requirements for resistance to false tripping caused by power-line noise, the company says. Also, if they're miswired, they can't be reset, preventing line-load reversal miswire.
