Best practice: If there’s an issue from one subcontractor that will affect the job of another, Nick facilitates communication to ensure that there’s comprehensive understanding of all conditions on his jobsites. Usually this just means phone calls, but it can include on-site meetings with all of those involved as well. One benefit is that the crew of subcontractors gets to know one another and can begin to work more as a unit rather than as individuals. This makes jobs run more efficiently and, ultimately, makes them more profitable as well.
