The SXE400 is a 3 1/8-inch random orbital disc sander. At 3.3 pounds, it maneuvers easily, the company says, and a 4 1/8-inch profile makes it compact enough for use in confined spaces. Dust is extracted through the sanding pad, so no shroud obscures work surfaces. The disc diameter of 31/8 inches exerts pressure evenly for clean sanding on narrow surfaces such as door and window frames.
