Bath Remodeling Jobs Edge Out Kitchen Improvements

The NAHB’s quarterly survey of the Remodeling Market Index found that the most common job performed by NAHB Remodelers in 2014 was bathroom remodeling.

Bathroom remodeling was listed by 78 percent of survey respondents, narrowly topping kitchen remodeling, which was listed by 77 percent of respondents.

The two categories were significantly higher than all the others on the list. Other projects that made the top five are window and door replacement (45 percent), whole house remodeling (43 percent), and room additions (35 percent).
