Throughout the '90s, sales of gas fireplace systems have consistently grown to capture a larger segment of the U.S. marketplace. Industry experts suspect that woodburning stoves and fireplaces may see a bit of resurgence in late 1999, as homeowners anticipate Y2K difficulties interfering with gas and power supply, however.
