The NHQ Awards presentation kicked off the One Night, One Industry event at Rain in the Desert at the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on the Sunday before the International Builders' Show.

In November, the Maryland Improvement Contractors Association handed out its 2003 Remodelers of the Year Awards at a ceremony at The Center Club in the Legg Mason Building in Baltimore. Awards were given in 11 categories. Left: Paul Arnold (left) and Jim Molinelli of Ardo Contracting in Columbia display their MICA Remodelers of the Year Awards in the Residential Interior over $40,000 and Residential Exterior over $50,000 categories. Right: (left to right) Mike Meushaw, John T. Heagy, Wayne Orem and Jim Rafferty of Welsh Construction in Baltimore accepted Remodelers of the Year Awards in three categories: Residential Kitchen under $50,000, Residential Bath under $40,000 and Residential Specialty.
