Who really needs bedrooms? New York-based architectural practice MKCA designed a clever way to turn a tight studio into a clutter-free, spacious “one bedroom.”
Instead of constructing a stationary wall to create a separate bedroom, the architects designed a sliding wall that conceals storage, an office, and a Murphy bed.
They call it the “5:1 (Five in One)” apartment, because of its sliding walls that allows for multiple configurations of the home.
