Danze Inc., a manufacturer of innovative plumbing products, was recently a proud partner in the renovation of Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Fla.
Give Kids The World Village is a 70-acre, nonprofit “story-book” resort in central Florida. Children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free vacations, complete with accommodations, donated attraction tickets, meals and more. The Village recently went through a major renovation to update and repair nearly 100 units.
According to Rob Larson, Danze director of hospitality and multi-family sales, Danze donated hundreds of kitchen and bath faucets, tub faucets and shower components from its Logan Square, Antioch and Melrose Collections to help create unique spaces. The manufacturer was honored to participate in tandem with its long-time friends and partners
at Wyndham Vacation Ownership.
“We were very happy to have Danze participate in the Extreme Village Makeover,” said Gary Rall, vice president of resort renovation & design for Wyndham Vacation Ownership. “We wanted to create beautiful, yet functional spaces for the families coming to the Give Kids The World Village and we appreciate Danze helping us achieve that goal.”
Wyndham Vacation Ownership (WVO) has a history of lending a hand at the Village, with over 600 employees giving their time to volunteer at Give Kids The World. But it was Gary Rall’s participation in the Adopt-a-Villa program that eventually led to the idea for Extreme Village Makeover, one of the biggest projects in GKTW’s history.
“Since our inception, Danze has worked hard to live up to our core value of being a positive force in the industry and communities we service,” says Larson. “Participating in the renovation of Give Kids the World Village is a small way we can make a big impact on others who need our support.” PR
